Novikov Igor Alekseyevich

Igor Novikov was born in 1961 in Moldavia, into the family of artist A. I. Novikov.
After graduating from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute he joined the late nonconformist movement of the late 1980s and became one of the founders of the famous art squat on Furmanniy Lane in Moscow.
Since 1990 he has lived in Switzerland, while regularly visiting Russia.
1990–1993 — UNESCO scholarship holder; worked in Le Corbusier’s studios.
