Surin Dmitry Nikolaevich

Dmitry Surin grew up in the family of the Chelyabinsk painter N. F. Surin.
1981 — Graduated from the Chelyabinsk Art College.
1989 — Graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute (Faculty of Painting, workshop of Prof. V. N. Zabelin).
Lives and works in Chelyabinsk.
Professor; for 20 years headed the Department of Design and Fine Arts at SUSU.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1991) and the Chinese‑Russian Academy of Fine Arts (2016).
Since 2003 has served as Secretary of the Union of Artists of Russia for the Ural Federal District.
Participant of regional, national and international exhibitions.
