Zolotaryov Sergey Nikolaevich

Born on 23 October 1960 in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Oblast.

1975–1979 — Studied at the Yaroslavl Art College (painting and pedagogy).
1983–1989 — Studied at the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute (easel painting; workshop of Prof. V. N. Zabelin). Awarded the Sergey Gerasimov scholarship for creative achievements.
Since 1990 — Lives and works in Kaluga.
1990–1991 — Presidential scholarship in culture and art from the Academy of Arts.
Since 1998 — Teaches at the Art Department of the Kaluga College of Culture (specialization “Painting”).
1999, 2002 — State commission: creation of a portrait gallery of the Goncharov family for the Polotnyany Zavod museum‑estate.

Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
