Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts (2012).
Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2018).

Graduated with honors from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute in 1989. Since 1998 has taught at the Moscow State Specialized School of Watercolor by Sergey Andriaka; since 2012 — Associate Professor of the Department of “Painting, Drawing, Composition and Fine Arts” and a methodologist of the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts.
Has conducted more than 200 master classes on portrait, landscape and still life in drawing and watercolor in various cities of Russia and abroad.
